Severfield-Reeve Structures - Thirsk, North Yorkshire
Design Engineers

The successful candidate will be required to have experience in the design of structural steelwork connections to BS5950 and industry design standards (ie simple and moment connections, column splices, bracing connection, baseplates, etc).
Experience in the management of internal/subcontract design engineers and drawing offices would also be an advantage, along with knowledge of software applications such as Masterseries and Fastrak.

Estimator

The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a small team involved with the preparation of estimates and tenders from engineering drawings, which will involve liaising with both clients and internal colleagues.
Applicants should possess good IT and communication skills and ideally have experience in a structural steel environment, although other backgrounds will be considered.

NDT Inspector

The successful candidate will be experienced in structural steel fabrication testing by magnetic particle and ultrasonic techniques and be familiar with weld visual inspection (preferably holding a CSWIP Visual Inspection 3.0 Certificate).
A working knowledge of The NSSS is expected as the main working steel fabrication standard.
NDT Inspectors are required to work on their own initiative as part of the Quality Assurance team.

Platers / Welders

Severfield-Reeve is currently looking to recruit a number of Platers / Welders for both day and nights shifts.
Applicants should ideally be time served with structural steel fabrication shop environment.

CNC Machine Operative

The successful candidate will be experienced or conversant in all aspects of CNC machine operation and work as part of our production team.
