| Overview: | Severfield-Reeve carried out the connection design, fabrication and erection of structural steelwork for this major new London office development. The building has two levels below ground consisting of a basement and lower ground floor. Above ground level are eight storeys to accommodate office areas, dealer floors and retail / leisure outlets. The 3,500 tonnes of fabricated steelwork supplied by Severfield-Reeve included 1,080 tonnes of Fabsec beams and plate girders which were designed to ensure optimum efficiency and architectural freedom and supplied with an off-site intumescent coating applied under quality controlled factory conditions. Within the steelwork package Severfield-Reeve also integrated the supply and fixing of metal decking, edge protection and steel stairs. | ||
