| Overview: | Rolls-Royce chose its Sinfin D site in Derby to build two highly advanced factory facilities. Severfield-Reeve carried out the design, detailing, fabrication, painting, offloading and erection of structural steelwork for this 50,000 m² facility. One of the two buildings will be a new aero engine maintenance repair and overhaul facility and the other a manufacturing plant for the production of high-value specialist compression system components. Severfield-Reeve scope of works also included the supply and fixing of metal decking. |
