| Overview: | Brabazon House – an office block project situated on the edge of a busy shopping precinct in Redhill – The original building was utilised for the Civil Service and then laid empty for several years. The original concrete structure was built in the late 1950’s and latterly fell into a bad state of repair. It was then demolished to podium level, a floor above ground level, and strengthening work took place in the basement. A larger, new steel structure has been built on the top of the existing structure, comprising of a Basement, Ground Floor, Podium Levels, Levels 1-5 and 2 roof levels. A mezzanine floor has been introduced between ground and podium levels to form an additional car parking area. This has created a large area of office space with shops to the front elevation at ground level together with a car park situated underneath. |
