| Overview: | As part of the More London development on the south bank of the Thames between London and Tower Bridges, Severfield-Reeve carried out connection design, fabrication and erection of structural steelwork. Along with the supply and fixing of metal decking, edge protection and steel stairs to this new London office development. The 2,850 tonnes of fabricated steelwork included 1,775 tonnes of Fabsec beams with service holes profile cut into the webs, and was generally supplied with an off-site applied intumescent coating to give a 60 minute fire rating. The project was a creditable health and safety performance with the Group's "Off-Load Safe" unloading procedure being used extensively. |
