| Overview: | Located on a prominent City island site close to the Moorgate and Liverpool Street, Ropemaker Place contains 20 storeys of commercial offices, covering an area of 46,500sqm, plus 3 basements floors and the ground floor. Severfield-Reeve Structures was responsible for the connection design, fabrication and erection of almost 6,000 tonnes of structural steelwork, of which 4,500 tonnes were coated with fire protection paint and over half were Fabsec plated beams with bespoke service openings. Severfield also supplied and fixed the metal decking, steel stairs, edge protection, edge protection fans and vertical netting. The project was completed on schedule with a creditable health and safety performance. |
